Line Leader/Weekend Crew/Day shift

Weekend Line Leader Location: Auburn, Indiana Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:30 AM - 7:30 PM Pay: $25-$29 based on experience Job Type: Full-Time Weekend Shift We are seeking a dependable and flexible Weekend Line Leader to support production operations at a manufacturing facility in Auburn, Indiana. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast‑paced industrial environment, leading others, and developing team members through hands‑on training. As a Weekend Line Leader, you will be cross‑trained throughout the facility and assigned where support is needed most. You will help guide the weekend crew, assist with cross‑training employees in multiple departments, and ensure team members are working safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include supporting production lines during high‑volume periods, helping balance workloads between departments, and relieving full‑time employees from mandatory weekend overtime assignments. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn a variety of production processes. Responsibilities Lead and support weekend production team members Assist with training and cross‑training employees in multiple work areas Help employees learn new processes and develop their skills Support production lines as needed throughout the facility Assist departments experiencing increased workloads Provide relief coverage for full‑time employees working weekend overtime Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards Follow all safety procedures and work instructions Work effectively with team members, supervisors, and management Perform general production and material handling duties as assigned Qualifications Previous manufacturing, production, or team lead experience preferred Ability to train, coach, and motivate employees Ability to learn multiple production processes and work areas Strong attendance and reliability Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required Physical Requirements Standing and walking for extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting Some heavier lifting required Occasional two‑person lifting of boxes and materials Ability to safely perform physical job duties throughout a 12‑hour shift What We Offer Three‑day work week with full weekend schedule Clean manufacturing environment Leadership and cross‑training opportunities Stable employment with a growing team Opportunity to gain experience in multiple production areas Apply today to join a team where leadership, versatility, teamwork, and reliability are valued. #J-18808-Ljbffr
