We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in machining and CNC operations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in machining CNC operations, and a proven track record of supporting production while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role will play a critical part in enhancing our manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the successful production of high-precision components.

Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Work with production team to analyze existing machining and CNC processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline manufacturing operations, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
• Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain rigorous quality standards for machined components.
• Develop and implement inspection plans, techniques, and tools to ensure the consistent production of high-quality parts.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies to drive efficiency gains and reduce variability.
• Technical Expertise: Serve as the go-to technical resource for machining and CNC-related matters, providing guidance to production teams and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machining technologies and manufacturing methods.
• Collaboration: Work closely with operators, managers, and other engineers to ensure smooth production flow and effective knowledge transfer. Offer product development assistance to customers.
• Training and Development: Foster a culture of learning and continuous skill development within the manufacturing team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 7 years of proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering with a focus on machining and CNC operations.
• Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code), CAD/CAM software, and machining simulation tools. Feature Cam experience is a plus.
• Solidworks experience a MUST.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tool selection, cutting parameters, and surface finishing requirements.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement techniques.
• GD&T, ISO9001
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Effective communication and collaborations skills to work cross-functionally and convey technical information to various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
