Job Duties Operate the Cherry Picker Pull/Pick the needed boxes. Manually move boxes as needed Load and unload boxes using both manual labor and equipment. Follow warehouse safety protocols and procedures. Maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse or powered industrial equipment training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Experience operating cherry pickers or similar powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to retrieve, transport, and store inventory at elevated rack locations. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment inspections. Ability to accurately identify inventory, locations, and shipping documentation. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Current certification or experience operating cherry pickers, order pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts is beneficial. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, productivity, teamwork, and inventory accuracy are well positioned for success as a Cherry Picker Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and safely operate powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 60 pounds. Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights while operating cherry picker equipment. Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment and moving inventory while following established safety procedures.
