PACU RN - Ambulatory Bronchoscopy Lab (20 hours per week)

Job Overview Bronch Lab Admin – Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuity of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team and collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluating progress to ensure effective outcomes. Key Responsibilities Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates implementation while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum. Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis. Continuously utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress toward goals and applies appropriate interventions. Employs strategies to promote health and a safe, healthy environment. Assists in providing patient education and assessment, including primary care patient interviews and physical examinations. Searches for evidence to answer clinical questions under guidance of others. Technical Capabilities Care Planning (Novice): Anticipates resource needs, prioritizes tasks, schedules activities, and resolves issues with minimal disruption. Nursing Patient Education (Novice): Provides patient education in moderate difficulty scenarios. Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation (Novice): Conducts primary care patient interviews, physical exams, gathers clinical data for referral and treatment. Evidence-Based Practice (Novice): Searches for evidence to answer clinical questions, works under direction of others to accomplish assignments. Position Qualifications Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) with licensure in Tennessee or other state. Work Experience: Minimum 1 year relevant nursing experience. Education: Graduate of an approved discipline specific program. Other: Ability to adapt to change, work effectively in team, and provide compassionate care.
