About the Position

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Hematology/Oncology for a 50-day assignment in Oregon. This role involves working 8 days per month, either on Mondays and Tuesdays each week or Monday to Thursday every other week, from 8am-5pm. The selected candidate will provide Hematology/Oncology services within a hospital-based outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide Hematology/Oncology locum services within a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting.
• Manage a caseload split 50/50 between Hematology and Oncology.
• Allocate 60 minutes for new consults, 20-30 minutes for follow-up appointments, and 45 minutes for the transition of care.
• Do not manage Leukemia or Bone Marrow cases.
• The Infusion Center and Clinic are co-located, but direct chair-side support for infusion is not required.

• Staffing Mix: 1 Part-time Physician, 1 Locum APP, 1 MA who handles vitals, 1 Nurse who handles triage and lab orders
