Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and complete repairs on production machinery and facility systems to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience, values workplace safety, and is committed to maintaining high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, motors, sensors, gearboxes, dock doors, and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, replacing or repairing components as needed to restore equipment performance.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, equipment manuals, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks accurately.
• Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns while supporting scheduled maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, confined space, fall protection, and food safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and communicate equipment status effectively during shift handoffs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical wiring, motors, sensors, gearboxes, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and material handling equipment.
• Strong attendance record with a safety-first mindset and commitment to following all workplace safety procedures.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled, two-story manufacturing facility and using stairs throughout the workday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using a CMMS or electronic work order system.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, or food manufacturing environments.
• Experience with plumbing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain required certifications.

Work Environment

• Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility with temperatures monitored to ensure employee safety.
• Two-story facility requiring frequent stair use throughout the shift.
• Work around production equipment, steam, compressed air, wet floors, elevated areas, and other industrial conditions while following established safety protocols.
• All required tools are provided by the employer.

Employment Type & Compensation

• Full-Time | Direct Hire position
• Compensation: $60,320.00 - $66,560.00 annually, based on experience
• Application Period: This position will remain open until filled

Work Schedule

• 1st Shift Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Occasional Saturdays
