Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Gallatin, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 13:00 - 01:00 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed. Call Requirements: As Needed.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position requires strong skills in emergency medicine and the ability to react calmly and effectively in urgent situations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support the current staff and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in continuous training and education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have at least 1 year of ER experience.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications.
• ENPC/TNCC certifications are preferred.
