Mobile Technician Fraley and Schilling GHENT, Kentucky, United States About this position $1,000 Sign-On Bonus - Mobile Technician in Ghent, KY Must meet performance goals and measurements. Pay-out over 6 month period. Position Summary The purpose of this position is to perform routine maintenance on all off-site equipment. The primary goal is to ensure that the mobile service truck has all necessary parts to perform minor repairs and give attention to equipment deficiencies found on routine inspections / PM’s. Additional duties include traveling to the site to relay information of each unit started on and finished. Roles & Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and inspections at assigned terminal locations Ensure safety and compliance by conducting DOT inspections on tractors and trailers Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers and other equipment Evaluate equipment and make recommendations for improvements and/or take preventative maintenance action Ability to perform basic diagnostics and repairs Complete written repair orders on every unit worked on Keep mobile service truck(s) organized while maintaining and tracking inventory Use jack stands and proper PPE to perform all work Operate tow bar as needed Test drive equipment as needed Skills & Qualifications Must supply and utilize your own tools Class-A CDLoptional Must live near Ghent, KY or within a one (1) hour commute Welding experience required (stick or mig) Excellent attention to detail Ability to recognize, communicate and repair deficiencies found Ability to work outside under adverse weather conditions with minimal supervision Professional demeanor and strong communication skills Ability to inspect, repair and replace worn out or damaged components Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Two or more years of Diesel Technician experiencerequired Experience with hydraulics preferred Experience with end dump trailers optional Experience with aluminum welding Job Type : Full-Time Health Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) and Employer Matching Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Vision Insurance Employer Paid Life Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance Employer Paid Short-Term Disability Long-Term Disability Hospital Indemnity Coverage401(k) and Employer Matching Paid Time Off Schedule : Monday - Friday Fraley and Schilling provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetic, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr Fraley & Schilling, Inc.
