Verifies exams as ordered by physician.2. Is an expert, and may serve as a Preceptor to perform correct scan protocols in an effort to decrease radiation exposure to patients.3. Is an expert in, and may serve as a Preceptor in the adherence to all radiation safety recommendations, including patient shielding. ALARA.4. Is an expert, and may serve as a Preceptor in the proper administration of IV and oral contrast.5. May serve as a Preceptor in the explanation of exams/procedures to patients and families.6. Ensures that work area is properly maintained.7. Ensures that work area is properly maintained.8. Is an expert, and may serve as a Preceptor in utilization of current or new and evolving technologies in CT.9. Maintains equipment and requests service as needed.10.
