Description of Task to be Performed AnaVation is seeking a Lead Systems Architect with an active Secret clearance. The ideal candidate will be a technical and thought leader with a passion for modernizing legacy enterprise architectures in the Federal government space. This is a full‑time position located onsite with our customer in Washington DC. What you will be doing Provide technical, thought, and people leadership in the architectural redesign and modernization of a large, multi‑tenant, legacy software application Support the Lead Developer to resolve particularly complex technical issues; provide innovative technical solutions to address environmental constraints and challenges Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to support activities throughout the entire SDLC Ensure attainment of all SLAs/SLOs in accordance with the QASP Mentor cross‑functional development team members to achieve collective success Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing conditions Must possess a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative requiring minimal supervision Required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Education/Certifications, Experience, etc) Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Information Systems, Engineering, or related 11+ years in Federal IT enterprise architecture including experience with Zero Trust and NIST Clearance Minimum active Secret clearance; able to obtain and maintain Top Secret Other Required Skills & Qualifications Experience leading the development of technology roadmaps and strategies Hands‑on technical expertise designing secure, scalable, multi‑tenant, cloud/on‑prem/hybrid architectures including all infrastructure, data, workflows, automation, compliance, reliability, identity, and access considerations Experience migrating legacy, multi‑tenant applications to the cloud while maintaining security posture, meeting strict uptime requirements, and significantly improving user experience (UX) Expert‑level command of the English language (oral and written), with experience interacting effectively at the CIO and CISO levels of large organizations Expert‑level organizational skills and ability to keep a multitude of tasks and projects on track at all times and with minimal supervision Location Washington, DC with the potential for a hybrid telework schedule upon client approval Required Qualifications High‑level application development and cybersecurity certifications are strongly preferred Specific experience with JCAM, eMASS, Xacta, Archer, or similar cybersecurity GRC tools is desired Benefits Generous cost sharing for medical insurance for the employee and dependents 100% company paid dental insurance for employees and dependents 100% company paid long‑term and short‑term disability insurance 100% company paid vision insurance for employees and dependents 401k plan with generous match and 100% immediate vesting Competitive Pay Generous paid leave and holiday package Tuition and training reimbursement Life and AD&D Insurance About AnaVation AnaVation is the leader in solving the most complex technical challenges for collection and processing in the U.S. Federal Intelligence Community.
