Field Service Technician III

Responsibilities As a Field Service Technician III, you will use your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. You will be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. You will build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with on‑site training. Must‑Haves High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience A higher-level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Preferred Associate's degree in a related field of study Experience with FCC or FCC GROL Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+ Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. Military Security Clearance Requirements This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
