Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care, including patient assessment, monitoring, and coordination of intraoperative care in the OR.
- Maintain sterile technique; assist with gowning, gloving, instrument handling, and counts per protocol.
- Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative changes.
- Ensure readiness of equipment, supplies, and room turnover; manage specimen labeling and documentation.
- Document intraoperative events, medications administered, and patient responses; communicate post-anesthesia care needs.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license in-hand (conditional licenses accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of operating room nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NHISS
- COVID-19 vaccination with current booster required; no exemptions
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program
- SSN and DOB required for submission; ability to work in a hospital operating room setting
