The primary responsibility is to attend to patient boarders, which may include med/surg, stepdown, or ICU patients. There may be a requirement to float to an acute unit as deemed necessary. Candidates must have the required certifications and a thorough understanding of emergency department protocols. The ideal applicant will have a consistent employment history with no gaps. ED skills checklist and references from previous emergency department supervisors are necessary.
