We are currently seeking a OIPA QA to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

OIPA QA

Key Responsibilities

• Policy Lifecycle Testing: Test end-to-end workflows including quotation, application, underwriting, issuance, billing, servicing, claims, lapse, surrender, and commission processing.
• Rule & Calculation Validation: Verify product rules, eligibility criteria, coverage tiers, premium calculations, riders, and financial transactions inside OIPA.
• Integration & API Testing: Validate REST APIs, payloads, status codes, and data mapping across front-end applications, payment gateways, document engines, and downstream systems.
• Batch & Database Verification: Test OIPA batch processes, database schema updates, XML/SQL transactions, and migration/upgrade scripts.
• Defect & Release Management: Log, triage, and track defects, build test scenarios (positive, negative, boundary, regression), and provide go/no-go quality sign-offs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Domain Knowledge: 5+ years Strong background in Life and Annuity insurance policy administration.
• OIPA Experience: 5+ years Hands-on experience testing or working with OIPA rules, XML structures, and transactions.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, REST APIs, JSON, and test management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Testing Types: Functional, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) support, regression, and end-to-end workflow testing.
