System Administrator I

The Role:

The Odom Corporation is seeking a System Administrator I to join our Information Systems team.

This position supports the day-to-day operation security and reliability of the Companys technology environment including Microsoft 365 Azure Windows Server endpoint management backup systems and related infrastructure. Working closely with Information Systems team members business users vendors and managed service providers you will help ensure that employees across multiple locations have the technology tools and support they need to succeed.

What Youll Do:

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

• Assist with administration and maintenance of Microsoft Azure Windows Server Active Directory Microsoft Entra ID and related infrastructure
• Support system upgrades patching and approved infrastructure changes
• Monitor system health and assist in resolving reliability and performance issues
• Help maintain secure and stable technology services across the organization

Microsoft 365 & End-User Platforms

• Support Exchange Online Teams SharePoint OneDrive Intune-managed devices and related technologies
• Troubleshoot access authentication permissions and device-related issues
• Assist users with escalated technical support requests
• Support user device and account administration activities

Backup Recovery & Cybersecurity

• Monitor backup and recovery processes and assist in resolving exceptions
• Participate in restoration testing and disaster recovery activities
• Support patch management vulnerability remediation and security initiatives
• Help maintain compliance with Company security standards and controls

Service Management & Documentation

• Document incidents requests changes and resolutions using approved service-management practices
• Assist with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis activities
• Maintain technical documentation inventories knowledge articles and procedures
• Communicate clearly with users and stakeholders regarding support activities

Projects Vendors & Site Support

• Participate in technology upgrades implementations and improvement initiatives
• Support warehouse office and operational technology projects as needed
• Assist with automation and process-improvement opportunities
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning collaboration and operational excellence

What Were Looking For:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Cybersecurity Computer Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education certifications and relevant experience
• Experience supporting technology systems devices applications or infrastructure in a business or educational environment
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Azure Active Directory Windows Server Intune or related technologies
• Experience supporting users in a multi-site environment
• Technical certifications such as Microsoft ITIL CompTIA Network or CompTIA Security
• Experience developing documentation procedures or automation solutions

Job Details:

• Salary range $75000 - $90000 (DOE)
• Up to 128 hours of Paid Time Off Annually to start (16 days)
• 9 Paid Holidays

Work Environment

• Work is primarily performed in an office environment but may also occur in warehouses and other company locations
• Hybrid work arrangements may be available based on business requirements and Company policy
• The work environment is generally moderate in noise level but may vary by location
• Scheduled maintenance after-hours support and emergency response activities may occasionally be required
• Occasional travel of less than 10% may be required based on business needs
