Warehouse Associate

Surestaff is immediately hiring a Warehouse Associate for a large, well-known client in Pleasant Prairie, WI. As a Warehouse Associate for Surestaff, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving (Picker / Packer), quality assurance, and inventory control (RF Scanners). Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($17/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include:

1st shift: 7am-3pm. M-F

Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate:

• Pick, pack, and ship orders for multiple clients
• Lead e-Commerce team; including organizing inventory and supplies, increase efficiency, motivate team members to meet and exceed goals
• Adhere to policies and procedures, while assessing effectiveness and efficiency
• Possess a professional style of communication

Required Qualifications of a Warehouse Associate:

• Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
• Forklift Certification preferred, not required
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
• High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office, Extensiv (3PL Central) Warehouse Management System preferred not required
• Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time in warehouse environment
• Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
