It's our mission to maintain the highest quality of furniture and home decor while staying on trend to the interior/exterior home furnishings market.The Assistant Manager has potential for commissions and bonuses.ResponsibilitiesAssist in achieving and exceeding the store's sales goalsLead by example by showing excellent customer service behavior and coaching staff to achieve the same resultsResolve customer issues while maintaining exemplary customer serviceAssist the Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating, and retaining quality employeesAssist the Store Manager in evaluating employees' performance goalsPerform daily opening and closing procedures including daily paperwork and other operational tasksProtect store assets by bringing any unusual incidents to the Store Manager or Executive Mgt. teamAlways ensure the store maintains cleanliness and its aesthetic viewEnforce the company's policies and proceduresThis is not an all-inclusive list of duties; additional duties will or may be assigned based on business needs.SkillsAt least 2+ year(s) of prior retail management or leadership experience required; experience in furniture stores is a plusA positive, outgoing, high energy personalityStrong leadership skills — loves to mentor and develop key strengths within your teamCommunication & critical thinking skillsStrong customer service experienceComputer skills (Excel, Word, Gmail, Google Drive), including POS systemsRequired to work weekends; open and close shifts are expectedThis position requires standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting at least 50+ poundsImportant NotesGet first pick of fabulous furniture, décor, and art at savings up to 90% below retailPay & Benefits: We offer competitive hourly pay, DOE, plus potential for commissions and bonuses for those who are eligible.
