Land Surveyor

My client is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to support a variety of land development, municipal, transportation, and infrastructure projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role is responsible for performing and overseeing field and office surveying activities, including boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys, while working closely with engineers, project managers, clients, and contractors. Key Responsibilities: Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, easement, and construction surveys Conduct field data collection using GPS, robotic total stations, and other survey equipment Complete construction staking and as-built surveys for civil engineering projects. Research deeds, plats, title commitments, and public records to establish property boundaries Process survey data and prepare maps, plats, exhibits, and legal descriptions Coordinate survey activities with project teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Ensure compliance with Texas surveying standards and company quality requirements Review survey calculations, field notes, and deliverables for accuracy Support project scheduling, budgeting, and client communication as needed Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred 3+ years of land surveying experience. Texas RPLS license preferred; candidates working toward licensure are encouraged to apply Proficiency with GPS equipment, total stations, and survey data collection systems.
