Job Title: Anesthesia Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Anesthesia Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (11:00 - 19:00) Experience: 2 years License: Valid compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous travel experience required - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with various anesthesia-related skills Description: Candidates from non-affiliated facilities are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All facilities honor active compact licenses. Position requires at least 2 years of experience. Candidates must be prepared for possible weekend coverage and may be required to float as needed. Call coverage is unlikely, but it may be needed if required. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may impact the assignment. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. References are required covering one year of experience within the last three years. Floating may be required between sister facilities. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to contract termination.
