Please note that hybrid eligibility and schedules may vary based on business needs and manager expectations.What you will be doing:The General Manager of Wellness (GM) owns global innovation and the three-to-five-year strategy for the $600M+ global Wellness portfolio, encompassing four iconic brands: Honeywell, Vicks, PUR, and Braun. The GM translates that global roadmap into activation and execution in the U.S. market, including delivery of the U.S. Wellness P&L, revenue growth, profitability, market share, and brand equity. In partnership with the International President, the GM defines the global roadmap that enables delivery of the international P&L. Regional sales teams retain accountability for execution and financial delivery in their respective markets. The role offers the opportunity to lead one of Helen of Troy’s largest businesses during a period of portfolio evolution, innovation acceleration, and operating model transformation.The GM leads three direct reports (VP, Global Innovation; VP, U.S. Marketing; and VP, U.S. Sales) and partners with other functions, such as Engineering, Finance, HR, and Operations, in a matrixed, collaborative model. translate insights into strategic opportunities and threatsConduct quarterly business reviews of market share, penetration, and brand performance; use data to inform strategic adjustmentsIdentify emerging opportunities and growth levers in the U.S. marketEnsure regular consumer and customer insight integration into strategy and decision-makingMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree15+ years of progressive business leadership experience, with a minimum of 5–7 years as a General Manager or equivalent P&L owner (business unit, brand, category, or geographic P&L of $300M+)Proven track record of building and scaling brands, including revenue growth, market share gains, and brand equity improvementDemonstrated experience translating strategy into commercial outcomes across pricing, promotion, product, and channel5+ years of cross-functional leadership spanning at minimum Marketing and Sales, ideally including Product or InnovationDirect experience building and developing talent in a complex, matrixed environmentStrong consumer insight orientation demonstrated through product launches, market research applications, or consumer-driven strategy developmentExperience in consumer products, health and wellness, beauty, personal care, or an adjacent categoryDemonstrated experience leading businesses that include durable consumer products, devices, regulated products, or technology-enabled productsAuthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree, MBAExperience with multi-brand portfolio managementTrack record of building and launching successful new brands, products, platforms, or line extensionsBackground in DTC, e-commerce, or omnichannel business models; Amazon or Walmart experienceExperience scaling consumer devices, durable consumer products, hard goods, medical devices, consumer electronics, air treatment, or water filtration businessesExperience operating in regulated categories and working with applicable requirements, including FDA, CPSC, or other health, wellness, device, or consumer product regulationsGlobal or international business experienceExperience operating with high consumer and customer intimacy and data-driven decision-makingBackground in a startup or scale-up environment, demonstrating resourcefulness and entrepreneurial driveIn Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $304,031 - $400,000 annually. This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance.
