As a Registered Nurse on the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team, you will provide exceptional care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ICU is an 8-bed unit that cares for a diverse patient population, allowing nurses to work in a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio with occasional 1:3 ratios. How You'll Contribute Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire. Associate's degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
