Senior End User Platform Engineer
Pay: $55-$60/hour
Schedule: Columbia, SC Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday-Thursday)
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Contract Length: 12 months
Overview
Seeking a senior engineer to support and improve end-user technology platforms, including:

• Citrix (Cloud & On-Prem)
• VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
• VPN / Zscaler
• Microsoft Intune
• Windows workstations

This is a strategic engineering role focused on platform improvements, future planning, vendor coordination, and mentoring.
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and lifecycle plans.
• Partner with vendors, architects, operations teams, and business stakeholders.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and platform enhancements.
• Create and maintain standards, policies, and best practices.
• Support platform modernization initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and share technical expertise.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Experience

• 7+ years working with enterprise infrastructure technologies
• 3+ years supporting Citrix, VDI, VPN, Intune, or related platforms

Required Skills

• Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (Cloud and On-Prem)
• Citrix NetScaler and StoreFront
• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• VDI technologies
• VPN and Zero Trust solutions (Zscaler preferred)
• Endpoint management and workstation platforms
• Enterprise networking and security concepts
• Firewalls, certificates, access controls, and TLS

Preferred Skills

• Citrix modernization and cloud migrations
• Zero Trust architecture and remote access design
• Endpoint and virtual workspace integrations
