Production Line Operator

Job Details Job Location: RTD Plant - Covington, LA 70433 Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm Responsibilities Operate production equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to meet daily labor and waste goals as planned and driven by management Utilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functions Complete change overs for their assigned equipment and/or production line Learn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications Accurately complete all quality, traceability, and production paperwork Report any product deficiencies, food, or safety concerns to supervisor Perform minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimally Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and assist others with product change overs Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and safety system ownership initiatives Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and persons; report any injury, accident, or unsafe condition to supervisor immediately Support and comply with GMP's; understand and follow emergency action plan Support food safety, quality, and legality Ensure the operation is providing food‑safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred Technical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment Interpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directions Leadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self‑leadership Benefits 10 Paid Company Holidays Generous Paid Vacation & Sick Time Comprehensive, Affordable Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage for you and your family Health Savings Account (HSA) with company contributions Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) & Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA) 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match and discretionary profit sharing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and financial wellness resources Company‑Paid Disability Company‑Paid Life Insurance equal to 3× annual compensation And more benefits designed to support your health, wealth, and well‑being Together, these benefits reflect our commitment to caring for our employees both inside and outside the workplace.
