Dietitian at Providence St. Vincent's Medical Center – Full-Time, Day Schedule Location: 9205 SW Barnes Rd, Portland, OR. Pay range: $33.63 – $52.22 per hour. Additional compensation such as shift differentials, overtime and bonuses may apply. This role will see both pediatric and adult patients for medical nutrition therapy in a supportive, patient‑centered environment. The Dietitian works closely with the departmental and interdisciplinary health care team to provide care that is integrated and compatible with patient‑centered medical goals and objectives. Utilizes the Nutrition Care Process and Terminology (NCPT) to assess nutrition status, identify nutrition diagnoses (including the assessment for malnutrition), perform nutrition‑focused physical examination, interpret results, order nutrition and diet orders, design and implement nutrition care plans, and monitor and evaluate outcomes of nutrition care plans for patients who are at nutrition risk or malnourished. Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients, families and the community. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, or a related area from a U.S. regionally accredited institution, or an equivalent foreign degree. Master’s degree required only for applicants entering the workforce after January 1 2024. Completion of required dietetics coursework and supervised practice through a Didactic Program in Dietetics and Dietetic Internship or a Coordinated Program in Dietetics accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian – Commission on Dietetic Registration. Within 180 days of hire: Oregon Dietitian License. Within 180 days of hire: May require additional state Dietitian License. 1 year experience with adult learning theory as it relates to nutrition education. 1 year experience with nutrition management of multiple disease states. Preferred Qualifications 1 year experience managing nutrition in a clinical setting. 1 year experience providing medical nutrition therapy.
