About This Role
We are looking for a part-time bus driver for our summer camp program for school-age children. Applicants must have a Class B with air brake, passenger and school bus endorsements, preferably with a current VDOT physical. Our bus is a 72 passenger. Summer Camp runs from June 12th to Aug 25, 2023.
What You'll Do- Bus Driver responsibilities include transporting students and staff on any required trips during the sschool year which will be one to two field trips a month (all local trips). (Summer full-time job opportunity)
- This position will also be responsible for sweeping and refueling the bus as needed.
- Report any mechanical issues with the bus to the Director.
- Class B license with air brake, passenger and air brake endorsements
- Must successfully complete a full background check.
- Must complete or have a First Aid/CPR certification.
Compensation based upon length of time applicant has held a CDL license.
