E-Commerce Quality Specialist

For Licking-Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc.

 

Location: Goodwill2Go – 245 Deo Dr. Newark Ohio

 

Number of positions: 1

 

Pay: $11.00- $12.00 per hour 

 

38-40 hours a week 

 

Store hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

 

A SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL….

• Sort incoming merchandise to determine suitability for online sale.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, condition, authenticity, completeness, and functionality.
• Tests as well as verify that electronics have necessary accessories.
• Identify shipping method. Prepare and maintain pre-shipment areas.
• Research unfamiliar products to ensure accurate identification and categorization.
• Determine the appropriate online listing category
• Remove damaged, counterfeit, incomplete, or unsuitable merchandise from the online sales process.
• Maintain consistent quality standards to reduce customer returns and improve customer satisfaction.
• Ability to control inventory 

• Confirm that merchandise matches the customer order before shipment.
• Help maintain shipping supplies and keep the shipping area clean and organized.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Knowledge of digital photography & editing programs a plus
• Frequently standing and walking for extended periods. 
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds. 
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders. 
• Packing & shipping experience preferred.
• Employers conduct pre-employment drug screens which include THC and background check.
• Have the physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and reach as required to complete the job. Be able to lift 50 lbs.
