Location (city, state) : Long Island City, NY (Fully In Office) Assignment Type : Contract-to-Hire (approximately 6 months before potential conversion) Pay : $22–$25 per hour (depending on experience) Work Schedule : Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). About Our Client Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing facilities services organization that provides cleaning, maintenance, and operational support for commercial, residential, and institutional properties. As their service footprint continues to expand, they are seeking a Bilingual Staffing Specialist to support high-volume recruiting efforts for field-based staff. Job Description The Bilingual Staffing Specialist will support the Human Resources team and operations leadership by managing recruitment and onboarding activities for a large workforce of facilities and janitorial employees. This role plays an important part in ensuring staffing needs are met quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating multiple hiring activities simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities for high-volume hourly positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates Schedule and manage candidate interviews while maintaining alignment with operational staffing needs Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation by reviewing policies, job expectations, and workplace guidelines with incoming employees Maintain and update records in the applicant tracking and HR systems to ensure accurate hiring documentation Initiate and monitor background screening processes in accordance with company and client requirements Set up new hires in timekeeping systems and process employment updates as needed Work collaboratively with payroll and HR colleagues to address employee-related questions or discrepancies Escalate employee concerns or compliance matters to HR leadership when appropriate Support general HR and operations administrative tasks, including assisting with incoming inquiries when needed Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English required 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally in a high-volume hiring environment Must have reliable transportation for in-office commute and occasional travel Experience supporting in-person candidate interactions and onboarding processes Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and HRIS or applicant tracking systems High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term career growth Exposure to high-volume recruiting and HR operations within a growing organization Opportunity to work closely with HR leadership and gain hands-on experience across multiple HR functions Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
