Job Details Job Location: MSK - Muskogee, OK 74401 Job Purpose The Medical Assistant at SPC LLC will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facilities and providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Record patient medical history, vital statistics, and information such as test results in medical records. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. Administer medications as directed by physicians and as permitted by state law. Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow to ensure timely and efficient care. Perform basic laboratory tests and operate medical equipment under the supervision of healthcare providers. Provide patients with information and instructions regarding medications, diet, and follow-up care. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure that examination rooms are fully stocked. Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients. Qualifications Required Education High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited medical assistant program preferred Required Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a medical assistant in a healthcare setting Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Previous experience in patient care and clinical procedures Required Skills and Abilities Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections Proficient in using medical equipment and technology Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare delivery Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations What We Offer Work-Life Balance Monday–Friday schedule No nights or weekends Clinic hours: Mon–Thurs: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Fri: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM (half-day!)
