TELLER, PART-TIME Job duties are listed below, other duties may be assigned:
• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, examine checks for endorsements.
• Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enter customers' transactions into computer to record transactions and issue computer generated receipts.
• Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Order daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash. Including handling large bags of coins.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift. Compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
• Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services such as internet banking, cashier's checks, trust and investment services.
• Open new accounts.
• Load new accounts and account maintenance in Computer System.
• Remove deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, automated teller machines and night depository. Qualifications and Skills: High School diploma or equivalent. Cash handling experience.
