The Restaurant Line Cook will support daily kitchen operations across the grill, sauté, fry, and rotating stations. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, this role will prepare and execute orders while maintaining food quality, portion consistency, safety, cleanliness, and efficiency during variable seasonal service volumes. Full training provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and set up assigned kitchen stations.
- Execute orders across grill, sauté, fryer, and rotating stations.
- Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and service requirements.
- Plate dishes accurately and maintain consistent portion control.
- Follow food safety practices and rotate inventory properly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workstation.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to support efficient service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in restaurant line cooking.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knife skills and food preparation experience.
- Knowledge of line cooking, recipe adherence, and food safety.
- Understanding of portion control and time management.
- Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
