Laboratory Specimen Processor - Specimen Management

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor for its Dublin, Ohio laboratory to receive, prepare, and process clinical specimens for testing. The role involves specimen handling, data entry, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and prepare clinical lab specimens for testing
- Perform specimen and patient information scanning and data entry
- Monitor lab equipment functionality and perform routine instrumentation maintenance
- Troubleshoot specimen-related issues and maintain work area cleanliness
- Complete record logs and administrative duties while following all standard operating procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfort handling biological specimens and accurate specimen identification
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and communication skills
- Physical capability to meet job demands and work in fast-paced environment
Compensation: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour, plus shift differential
