Area Mechanic Woodworker

Responsibilities Perform scheduled and planned work Respond promptly to trouble tickets at a resort, park, or attraction Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required Must be able to wear a respirator Basic Qualifications Valid Florida Driver’s License Minimum of 5 years’ experience in carpentry Experience in all facets of the carpenter and cabinet maker trade including rough and finish carpentry, roofing, cabinetmaking and furniture repair Ability to operate carpentry shop and hand tools or equipment associated with woodworking Experience installing windows, doors, interior and exterior trim, and erecting structures from ground level Experience reading and interpreting plumbing blueprints, material takeoffs, prints for permit submittals and construction prints Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices Schedule Availability Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedules and start times are subject to vary. Compensation and Benefits The pay rate for this role in Florida is $25.76 per hour.
