Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist  to support our client's healthcare facility in Miami, FL . This is a 6 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Job Details: 
Schedule:  

• Monday–Friday: 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
• Rotational Saturdays: 5:00 AM–11:00 AM
  Or
• Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Rotational Saturdays: 5:00 AM–11:00 AM 

Location:   Miami, FL 33186 or Miami, FL 33176 
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 6+ months
Pay Range: $19 to $21/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Perform accurate and efficient venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
• Collect specimens from adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients .
• Prepare and process specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain collection procedures clearly and professionally to patients.
• Create a comfortable and trustworthy environment for patients.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Follow established safety, quality, and confidentiality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and coworkers.

Requirements: 

• Education:  High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience:  Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:   Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
