This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative product development alongside experienced industry leaders, making a visible impact from concept to completion.Location – Fort Valley, GA (generous relocation assistance offered!)Design Engineer, Mechanical – EV Benefits & CompensationCompetitive base salaryAnnual bonus opportunityRelocation package availableMedical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company match14 paid holidays plus vacation timeContinued professional development supportStable, long-term career growth with an industry-leading manufacturerDesign Engineer, Mechanical – EV Requirements & QualificationsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university5 years of engineering experience, including 2 years focused on EV powertrain integrationProficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar engineering toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent technical communication, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teamsU.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident requiredDesign Engineer, Mechanical – EV Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with senior engineers to develop and refine detailed design models and technical drawingsProduce documentation to define mechanical system and component specificationsApply FMVSS, state, and customer requirements to all design decisionsPrepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholdersParticipate in design reviews and provide constructive technical feedbackTroubleshoot and resolve design and performance issues in partnership with the teamWork closely with manufacturing, quality, and product teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturabilityStay up to date with the latest EV technology trends, materials, and manufacturing processesBring your mechanical engineering expertise to drive sustainable transportation forward in a supportive, innovative environment.
