Record Center Specialist (Union Position)

Location: SkySource Solutions
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Two paid 15-minute breaks
• Pay: $19.00/hour starting
• Increase to $24.33/hour after 90 days

Position Overview

The Record Center Specialist plays a key role at SkySource Solutions and information management operations. This position is responsible for accurately handling, storing, retrieving, and transporting physical records while maintaining strict security, safety, and confidentiality standards. This is a union position offering long-term career growth, excellent benefits, and consistent hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and process incoming boxes, files, and media
• Accurately retrieve and prepare records for customer delivery
• Operate material-handling equipment (hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks)
• Scan barcodes and update tracking systems to maintain chain of custody
• Load and unload boxes (up to 50 lbs) safely and efficiently
• Maintain organized storage locations within the record center
• Follow all security, confidentiality, and safety protocols
• Support inventory audits and quality control checks
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity goals

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Friday, no weekends
• Indoor warehouse/record center environment
• Physically active role involving standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout the shift
• Climate-controlled in most areas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfort using handheld scanners and basic computer systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and attendance
• Prior warehouse, logistics, or records management experience a plus (not required)
• Guaranteed raise to $24.33/hour after 90 days
