Acute Care Radiology Technologist

Position available in Montana.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Variable Day Shift.

The Acute Care Radiology Technologist provides health care services through X-Ray procedures to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients. The role includes performing radiographic exams and producing images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers.
• Conduct fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers.
• Assist with patient education regarding preparation and post-care for radiology procedures.
• Complete documentation necessary for the interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Participate in the monitoring and improvement of hospital quality indicators.
• Educate radiography students, new hires, and other radiology techs on relevant procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
• Montana Licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT certification (R) R.T.(R).
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• One year of previous radiology experience, including clinical internship experience.
• Competency in advanced imaging techniques within six months of hire.
