Be involved in projects with WSP Solutions, Inc and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects supporting federal programs in the US and internationally, as well as partner with WSP design teams around the globe.Your ImpactPerform a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects to large projects. Exercise independent judgement in some areas evaluating, selecting and applying standard architectural design techniques, procedures and criteria to make design adaptations and modifications.Interact with current clients and assist in pursuing new work by leveraging existing relationships in the marketLead Design Team members in the preparation of design documents, reports and related project documents using REVIT and other applicable softwareMust demonstrate ability to perform thorough technical reviews in support of the office’s Quality Control programCompletes designs for applicable project; prepares architectural working drawings and related project documentsPrepares project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant dataConducts site and construction inspections gathering information, compiling reports for managementMay assist in development of proposalsMay plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee the work of lower-level architectsExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.Who You AreRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.7-10 years of related design experience, including federal related work.Successful experience managing architectural projects.Familiarity with federal standards required.Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.Due to client requirements, US citizenship is required.The ability to travel, some internationally, to project or client sites as needed. Potential to include overnight stays.Proficiency with CADD and REVIT platforms and their capabilities.Preferred QualificationsArchitectural license.NCARB Certification.Experience with NAVISWORKS.Active US Government Security clearance.WSP Benefits:WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
