This role involves working with critically ill patients, collaborating with medical staff, and ensuring the delivery of excellent care standards. Shift Details Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) No call required No block scheduling Float Requirements The position requires floating to the High Dependency Unit (HVU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4. Unit Information Number of ICU beds: 24 plus 2 in recovery Patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2 Qualifications Active RN licensure BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required Experience in critical care nursing Technical Skills Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is essential. The unit currently utilizes MedHost and is transitioning to Cerner. Attire Scrubs must be in any solid color.
