Position: Power Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

Location: Bethlehem, PA (Onsite)

Duration: Permanent Role

Job Description

6+ years of experience in power electronics and hardware design.
Design and develop DC/AC inverter hardware using IGBT/MOSFET topologies, gate drivers, isolation interfaces, and protection circuits.
Create schematics and multilayer PCB designs using Altium, integrating microcontrollers, sensing circuits, and real-time control hardware.
Perform power loss calculations, thermal and efficiency optimization, and EMI/EMC compliance assessments for inverter systems.
Conduct hardware testing, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes and power analyzers, collaborating with firmware teams on prototype development and system optimization.
