Forklift Operator (Temporary)

Are you a skilled operator who prides themselves on precision and safety? We’re looking for a dependable Temporary Forklift Operator to join our Oshkosh client’s warehouse team. In this role, you’ll be the gears that keep our production moving, ensuring materials get exactly where they need to be, when they need to be there.

Position – Forklift Operator

Job Location – Oshkosh, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temporary

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – `1st shift

Starting Pay –$19 to $20 per hour

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

Your primary mission is to transport products and materials across the facility using propane or electric forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Precision Driving: Operate levers and pedals to navigate the floor and control lifting apparatus.
• Material Logistics: Load, unload, and stack materials on pallets, skids, or baskets.
• Inventory Integrity: Supply workers with materials, ensure everything is properly labeled, and use a tablet for real-time inventory control.
• Safety First: Conduct daily forklift inspections and strictly follow company safety policies to keep yourself and your teammates safe.
• Team Support: Pitch in and support other operational areas as requested by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year of forklift experience (or an equivalent mix of education/experience).
• Skills: Strong multi-tasking abilities, quick reaction times, and solid communication skills.
