Doctor of Medicine | Optometry - General/Other Location: Montana Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Our client is seeking an experienced Optometrist for a 240-day assignment in Montana, commencing May 18, 2026. This role involves managing a wide range of optometric cases from infant to elder, including urgent issues, traumas, and post‑operative care. Appointment lengths range from 15‑45 minutes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Responsibilities and Duties See all primary care optometry cases, from infant to elder. Provide medical and therapeutic management for urgent ocular issues. Diagnose and treat conditions including traumas, post‑operative complications, glaucoma, macular degeneration, uveitis, and diabetic retinopathy. Perform minor in‑office procedures such as lash epilation, punctual dilation/irrigation, corneal and conjunctival foreign body removals, and bandage contact lens application. Utilize available onsite equipment, including phoropter, slit lamp, eye chart, and exam chair, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Additional Information Board certification in Optometry is required. The facility utilizes the RPMS EMR system.
