As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post‑processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross‑sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. Advanced imaging skills and techniques would be demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the following advanced imaging applications: MR Angiography (MRA) - cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR, peripheral vascular/PVMR, and or neurovascular - EPI applications: DWI, PWI, DTI , ASL MR Spectroscopy (MRS) - Brain, or Breast, or Prostate MR Enterography, MR Defecography and MR Prostate with endo‑rectal coil Interventional MR - MR Guided fine needle breast and or prostate biopsies Functional MR (fMRI) - Brain Therapeutic MR (HiFu) - Fibroid tumors You will be expected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization. Should you not meet the experience standards required for a senior position, you may be considered for a Staff MRI Technologist position Internal candidates will be placed according to their Active/Current career ladder level Staff Technologist: $52.22 - $ 68.84 Hourly Senior Technologist: $54.79 - $72.30 Hourly Salary Range: $52.22 - $72.30 Hourly Qualifications Please ensure your resume includes a list of all relevant certifications and licenses At least 3 years MRI Experience - required for Senior Technologist Licenses o A combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required OR o A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) - required Venipuncture certificate - required BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required Graduate from a Radiologic Technologist Program - required AA or BS - preferred Siemens experience - preferred Demonstrates competence in modifying protocols as required producing optimal diagnostic images.
