Sonographer

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Sonographer, you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care. Every day you will directly interact with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and preparing them for scans. You will meticulously operate sonographic equipment, adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images. You will monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort, select and examine images for pathologies, and present preliminary findings to Physicians. To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent patient service and communication skills, sharp eyesight, and meticulous attention to detail. You will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and advanced decision‑making skills to effectively capture and interpret sonographic data, ensuring optimal diagnostic support. Job Requirements Required: Two (2) years high-risk/level II OB Ultrasound including Fetal Echo. Experienced with US guided invasive fetal procedures including amniocentesis and CVS Basic Life Support - CPR One of the following: Registered Cardiac Electr, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen, Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, Registered Vascular Specialist, Registered Vascular Technologist Preferred: Experience with AIUM certification process Where You'll Work Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) is a non‑profit Community clinic organization comprised of more than 40 health centers located primarily from Ventura to Templeton, spanning the coast.
