Elementary Teacher

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for an immediate opening for the position of Third GradeTeacher for the 26-27 school year. This is a full-time contract position.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess New York State Teacher certification in Grade 1-6 substaintial pay increase for NYS certification. Candidates with out-of-state certification will be considered. Experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a Bachelors Degree in Education or have completed a teacher certification will be calculated based on status of certification years of experience andaccomplishment of a Masters Degree.

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is a public charter school primarily serving students from the city of Rochester. Over 90% of our students identify as an individual of color. We are a college preparatory school and use data to determine how best to foster student growth this includes NYS test data. RACS seeks to prepare all graduates for active citizenship.
