Experienced Chairside Dental Assistant

Clinton Family Dental is a busy, modern, privately owned, multi-doctor practice seeking an experienced Chairside Dental Assistant who takes pride in providing exceptional patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do: As a chairside assistant, you'll work directly with one of our doctors, providing high-quality clinical care while helping keep the schedule running efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting during restorative, crown and bridge, cosmetic, emergency, implant, and other general dentistry procedures
• Taking high-quality digital radiographs
• Preparing treatment rooms before each appointment
• Maintaining exceptional infection control and sterilization standards
• Fabricating temporary crowns and assisting with impressions and digital scanning
• Educating patients before and after treatment
• Managing laboratory cases
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Working closely with the front office, hygiene department, and fellow assistants to create an outstanding patient experience

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of chairside general dentistry experience
• Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist (X-ray) Certification
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a busy office
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance

Preferred

• Experience with digital scanners
• Experience with same-day dentistry workflows
• Experience with implant procedures
• Familiarity with Curve Dental or similar practice management software
