We're seeking the right candidate for the position of CNA Supervisor at Calcasieu Community Care Center . In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

Essential Qualifications:


This role oversees the social function of the household, including activities. This position serves as a mentor/leader and partners with the Clinical Coordinator in the coordination of care of the residents within the household.

• Develops positive resident relationships, exploring approaches to aging and supporting families.
• Addresses and documents any special psychological concerns (death in family, health decline etc.).
• Maintains individualized psychosocial assessment.
• Evaluates personal and emotional concerns.
• Assists with the completion of an individualized activity assessment.
• Maintains household activity calendar and coordinates activities and ensure resident appointments are kept.

Requirements

The Preferred Candidate:

• Valid CNA Licensure
• One (1) year experience in long term care, as a CNA (preferred).
• Must have critical thinking skills and decision-making ability.
• Must have excellent leadership skills and abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff.
