Be an Expert: Understand processes and specifications for quality of produce merchandise (e.g., taste, preparation method, or use, seasonality); prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines; and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive performance of the area; use digital tools; utilize perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience; model high quality service and products; execute basics at the highest level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
