Corporate Tax Senior Associate

As a Corporate Tax Senior Associate, you will be a member of the corporate tax practice, supporting business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting projects, including tax provision preparation and audit support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements from planning through completion, including executing and directing tax projects while managing to budget.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax projects; serve in an in-charge role as needed.
• Review tax returns prepared by staff and recommend improvements to accuracy and tax-saving opportunities.
• Perform primary review and preparation for ASC 740 income tax provision engagements.
• Research and consult on tax matters; use tax-related software to prepare and process returns.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS, state, and other tax authorities.
• Build strong client relationships and work effectively with client management at all levels.
• Participate regularly in professional development and training sessions.
• Uphold high professional standards and strict client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2–4 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience; ASC 740 tax provision experience is strongly preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to travel as needed.
