- Obtain patient information at the time of scheduling and assist in filling out forms, relevant documents and case histories
- Obtain and log insurance information
- Organize and maintain confidential medical files and records
- Fill and distribute daily schedules for staff
- Manage the front desk operations
- Order supplies and maintain inventory
- Since the job description of a medical scheduler is wide, they are expected to perform a lot of additional tasks.
