Termite Technician

Job Overview Termite Technicians protect customer properties from wood‑destroying organisms by inspecting, preventing, and treating termite problems. Responsibilities Identify customer’s termite problems and determine remedial steps. Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines. Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures following schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions. Communicate critical termite‑conducive conditions to customers, discuss procedures and structural modifications. Verify job specifications for each work order. Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment. Complete production forms documenting services provided. Interact with customers and explain services provided. Essential Job Functions Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp or dusty locations. Prepare job sites for treatment, enter and exit structures and crawl spaces, climb over and on top of structures, and ascend and descend stairs and ladders. Work up to 20 feet on ladders and in small confined spaces, roofs and high areas. Perform general labor tasks including carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, and attic work. Move frequently—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles. Wear PPE such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator and work regularly in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways. Qualifications Clean shaven face—required for safety with rebreathers. High school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license from the state of residence; company vehicle and gas card provided. At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Flexible schedule: Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed. Licenses/certificates required by federal, state, or local regulations (covered by the company). Basic math skills—addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Pay Hourly: $17.00 – $23.00.
